Education Consulting with schools and individuals
I work with schools and other organisations to deliver bespoke professional learning. My work has included delivering professional learning about trauma informed practice and other topics to schools, community organisations, local government and health settings. I also work with individuals - educators or parents. My aim with delivering professional learning is for participants to experience a mix of theory and practical take-aways. I can work with schools and organisations as a one off, I can design a single hour or up to multiple days of professional learning. I am at times an educator, a guide, or a facilitator, depending on the needs of the people in front of me. Much of my work can be funded by the Schools Mental Health Menu Fund via the skills checklist. I can step in for a conversation about an individual student, offering guidance about disability inclusion, behaviour support, or challenging conversations. My offerings are designed around the needs of the recipients. I love having the opportunity to explore the needs of a particular school, organisation or individual. It is always a great opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to look at what interventions could be provided as part of a multi-tiered system of support for an individual, a group or across a school. Opportunities for reflective practice around student wellbeing can be invaluable. Along with training-style delivery, I offer small group work providing an opportunity for teams, leadership, or other groups to delve into their practice. Below are a range of topic areas that I deliver professional learning on, or you can download the menu at the bottom of this page. Please get in contact for more information, a more comprehensive list of topics, or to discuss your school or organisation's needs.
